Over 10,000 killed in Ukraine conflict – UN
More than 10,000 people have been killed in the conflict in Ukraine, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein said Monday.
The official was presenting the 16th report of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on the situation in eastern Ukraine, Sputnik reports.

“In September, casualties fell four-fold compared to August. Due to renewed shelling in October, civilian casualties scaled up to the levels observed during the summer. In November and early December they again decreased. I hope the downward trend will continue,” Hussein said.
