Program of Israeli PM’s Azerbaijan visit announced
Israeli’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara will visit Azerbaijan on Dec. 13 in order to advance diplomatic relations, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement on Dec. 13.
Netanyahu will discuss, with the Azerbaijani and Kazakh presidents, regional issues as well as diplomatic, security and economic matters, according to the statement.

The Israeli PM will meet with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, where agreements will be signed – by Environmental Protection, Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Zeev Elkin – on standardization, double taxation and agricultural cooperation.

The premier will pay respects to fallen soldiers and lay a wreath at the memorial.

He will then visit the `Or Avner` Jewish education complex, along with Azerbaijan Education Minister Mikhayil Jabbarov, and meet with members of the local Jewish community.
