As part of the visit, Sevda Mammadaliyeva held discussions with member countries of the World Heritage Committee on including Azerbaijan’s Shaki city and its historical part in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
The Committee is responsible for the implementation of the World Heritage Convention, defines the use of the World Heritage Fund.

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Sevda Mammadaliyeva has participated in the 11th meeting of the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict of the UNESCO in Paris.
