On Dec. 12, the Azerbaijani armed forces destroyed two UAVs belonging to the Armenian army. The drones were destroyed over the line of contact between the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops in Azerbaijan’s Fizuli district while attempting to perform reconnaissance over the country’s army positions.
“This time, Armenia’s Defense Ministry shamelessly tries to present its downed drones as “the toys of Azerbaijani children.” However, Armenia’s officials have repeatedly admitted that the country’s army is equipped with ‘home-made drones’”, said the ministry.

“Looking at the blades, which are visible in the left and right corners of the photo (attached to the news release), you can see that it was taken by one of the downed Armenian drones. The photo showing a military serviceman, with a remote control in his hand, watching a drone taking off,” noted Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
This proves once again that Armenia’s military and political leadership, relying on lies and falsifications, tries to mislead the international community, stated the ministry.
