EU expressed concern over Lusine`s arrest
Malena Mard, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan expressed concern about the arrest of a young writer from Stepanakert (Khankendi) Lusine Nersisyan, who previously joined the Armenian-Azerbaijani peacemaking platform, AzVision.az reports.

Malena Mard said in the discussion with PhD, Head of the Baku Network`s Expert Council within the conference of `Inter-Religious Tolerance and the Role of Media` at ADA University.

Mard noted her support to build relations between Azerbaijani and Armenian civil soceities and various human groups:

`We cooperate with Europe to achieve the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Our cooperation allows us to support the establishment of this kind of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It is of great importance for Azerbaijan to establish a variety of formats such as `Baku Platform` in order to develop dialogue among different groups settling the Nagorno-Karabakah conflict.

M.Mard expressed her concerns over the arrest of Lusine Nersisyan who lives in so-called Nagorno-Karabakh:

`I got information about her arrest via media. I am worried about her. This also indicates that media must follow the issues in regard with the `Baku Platform` and all events in the society`, she added.
