Japanese law enforcement agencies have tightened security measures in the country`s capital of Tokyo ahead of the bilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, local media reported Friday.
The Russian leader is currently paying a two-day working visit to the Asian country. On Thursday, the two leaders met in southwestern Japanese city of Nagato and the second meeting due to take place on Friday in Tokyo.

Japanese police strengthened their presence at a number of government and transport facilities, including Abe`s residence and Tokyo`s Haneda Airport, as well as at public places, the NHK broadcaster reported.
