Armenians startled: Lusine Nersisyan released
We have previously reported about Lusine Nersisyan, writer, activist `s arrest by Karabakh Department of the Armenian Special Service Bodies for joining `Armenia-Azerbaijan Platform for Peace `.

Lusine Nersisyan`s arrest was an obvious example of the miserable situation of the Armenian government. However, Sargsyan regime had not expected that the World Community, particularly European officials would be angry with this arrest. In this regard, Europe first reacted to Armenian activist`s arrest after the campaign launched in Azerbaijan. Malena Mard, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan expressed concern about Lusine Nersisyan`s arrest.

The EU supports the establishment of relations between Civil Societies and different human groups of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Mard stated:` `I got information about her arrest via media. I am worried about her. This also indicates that media must follow the issues in regard with the `Baku Platform` and all events in the society`.

`It is a serious violation of human rights. Armenian and Nagorno Karabakh separatists commit these violations because of their impunity. Relevant measures on this occupant country must be taken in order to eliminate violations`, Aurelia Grigoriu, Head of Public Chamber of Moldova said in her statement to AzVision.az.

The timely intervention of the Azerbaijani Mass Media and attention of the World Community on Armenian activist`s arrest startled Armenians. They denied Nersisyan`s arrest. David Babayan, the Press Secretary of `the President of the so-called regime` who confirmed her arrest in his interview to `Aravot` newspaper had to negate his statement on accusing Azerbaijan of waging hybrid war against Armenia and the so-called `Nagorno-Karabakh Republic`.

Hereupon, the authorities of the so-called `Nagorno-Karabakh Republic` had to release Nersisyan. The situation came to a head that Nersisyan had been forced to post on her`Facebook` account as if she had never been arrested. However, she underlined her concerns about her family`s life in the post.

These incidents prove, the participation of Armenian activists in the `Armenia-Azerbaijan Platform for Peace` scares the Sargsyan regime. In fact, the Armenian Mass Media outlets have threatened the people who support the public diplomacy with remanding to mental hospital and their lives. Apparently, these threats are the main reasons that made Nersisyan`s false Facebook post on her arrest.
