Kill them out - Armenian politician calls on Government to use traditional terrorist methods
Noting the death of tens of thousands of people from Azerbaijan and Armenia, hundreds of thousands of people who became IDPs and refugees as a result of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which remains unresolved for more than 25 years, “Armenia-Azerbaijan Platform for Peace” was established to continue the peace initiatives and contribute positively to the settlement of the conflict.

The establishment of the platform was welcomed in Azerbaijan while in Armenia it caused resentment, where the Government’s policy is towards a more unilateral approach which carries with it many dangers…

When the Armenian authorities learned about the initiative of the activists of the two countries` civil societies to start a dialogue to resolve the conflict, they tried to throw a monkey wrench in the works using their traditional terrorist methods.

Today Armenian politician and historian Gagik Gambaryan openly threatens the human rights defenders from the Armenian side who signed the appeal on the establishment of the Peace Platform.

In his interview to Armenian Arovat.am G. Gambaryan asked National Security Service of Armenia `to kill them out`.

He called the three Armenian patriots Vage Avetyan, chairman of Public Organization “National Liberation Movement” Vaan Martirosyan and journalist, vice-president of human rights non-governmental organization “Meridian” Susan Jaginyan `mental patients`.

- Plenty of adventurers, mentally ill or `offended` people by authorities exist in Armenia... All of them can join this platform in order to earn money… Why is the National Security Service established? The National State Security Service should remove all these people by all means. I do not mean that they must be killed out. However, it must be done so if it comes to that extent…

This statement by the politician once more proves that Armenians prone to crime. It is not a secret that Armenia do has a perfect profile to be prone to terrorism. A little survey through social media shows that Armenian terror being part of international terror is more than 100 years. That is, radical Armenian organizations that aimed to establish “Greater Armenia” – “Armenakan” founded in 1887, then “Hnchak and “Dashnaksyutun” parties used political terrorist acts widely in order to fulfill this plan.

And Azerbaijan became an object of Armenian terrorism already since the beginning of 20th century. The terror acts reached their strong swing during first Russian revolution in 1905-1907 and in 1918-1920. Armenian terrorists acted with special cruelty. They spared neither elderly nor women and children, leaving behind burned and destroyed villages. Since the end of the 1980s, Azerbaijan has again become the main target of the Armenian terrorism. As a result, many of Azerbaijani civilians were killed and wounded.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. As a result of the ensuing war, in 1992 Armenian Armed Forces occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven adjacent districts. The 1994 ceasefire agreement was followed by peace negotiations. Armenia has not yet implemented 4 UN Security Council resolutions on withdrawal of its Armed Forces from the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding districts.
