As a result of the establishment of the Bureau, added value in the amount of a total of AZN 10m (AZN 5m – direct, AZN 5m – indirect) is predicted to be created in 2020. The number of accommodation in hotels and hotel-type facilities in Baku will be increased from about 0.8 million (for 2015) up to 3.65 million for the year 2020. Tourism calendar will also be created to coordinate all major events.
