Azerbaijani MFA issues statement condemning murder of Russian Ambassador to Turkey
Azerbaijan strongly condemns the terrorist attack that led to the murder of the Russian ambassador to Turkey, reads a statement of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, AzVision.az reports.

"We strongly condemn the terrorist attack that led to the murder of the Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov. In connection with this tragedy we express our deep condolences to the relatives of the deceased, as well as all my colleagues in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia," the statement said.

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry also expresses confidence that this terrorist act will be comprehensively investigated, the perpetrators will be punished.

The statement of the Foreign Minsitry notes that Azerbaijan believes that a terrorist attack against Ambassador Andrei Karlov will further strengthen the commitment and joint efforts of Russia and Turkey in the fight against terrorism.

“Azerbaijan strongly condemns all forms and manifestations of terrorism. Terrorism has no justification,” reads the statement.
