Russian embassy in Baku opens condolence book in honor of Andrey Karlov
The Russian Embassy in Baku opened on Tuesday a book of condolence to honor the memory of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov, who shot dead yesterday in Ankara.
The condolence book will be open for entries today from 10:00am till 01:00pm on Dec. 21 and from 10:00am till 01:00pm on Dec. 22, the embassy told AzVision.az.

The Russian diplomat was fatally wounded by an armed gunman on Dec. 19 evening as he made a speech during the opening of a photo exhibition devoted to Russia in the Center for Contemporary Art in Turkey’s capital Ankara.

The attacker, identified as police officer Mert Altintas, was killed by local security forces shortly after.
