Syria`s al-Bab to Aleppo highway under full control - Turkish military
Turkey-backed FSA fighters have gained full control of highway between Syria`s al-Bab and Aleppo, military sources said Wednesday.

According to the sources, four Turkish soldiers slightly and one FSA fighter were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in was damaged by a roadside blast in the Wednesday`s counter-terror attacks while 15 Daesh terrorists were killed during the clashes.

The Turkish Armed Forces` (TSK) jets destroyed 48 Daesh terrorist targets in Syria, including armored vehicle, including shelters, ammunition depots and command-and-control centers.

The moves are part of Operation Euphrates Shield, which began on Aug. 24 to rid Syria`s northern border area of terrorist groups as Daesh and PYD/YPG. It aims to improve Turkey`s security, support anti-Daesh coalition forces and eliminate the terror threat along Turkey`s Syrian border using Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters backed by Turkish armor, artillery, and jets.
