Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament meets Kyrgyz counterpart
Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament has met his Kyrgyz counterpart Chynybay Tursunbekov, who visited the country to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the headquarters of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TURKPA).
On the activity of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries, Mr. Asadov said the Organization opened new stage in inter-parliamentary ties.

The speaker stressed the importance of preserving cultural heritage of the Turkic-speaking nations for development of the Turkish civilization.

Mr. Asadov said Azerbaijan attached great importance to strengthening and deepening relations with Kyrgyzstan.

The Kyrgyz Speaker was informed about political-economic reforms carried out in Azerbaijan.

Mr. Asadov stressed the role of cultural-humanitarian ties in Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz bonds.

The sides spoke about the activity of the friendship groups operating in both countries` Parliaments.

The sides also touched upon the current state of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Chynybay Tursunbekov, in turn, said they attached particular importance to relations with Azerbaijan`s Parliament.
