Azerbaijani army test-fires Ildırım anti-aircraft missile complexes - PHOTOS
In accordance with the combat readiness plan approved by Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the Air Force and Air Defense Troops underwent an unexpected test.
Woken up by the alarm signal under near-combat circumstances, the personnel’s readiness as well as their practical skills and capability of using the military equipment were put to the test, the Defense Ministry told APA on Wednesday.

During the training, the military personnel test-fired Ildırım (Thunderbolt) anti-aircraft missile complexes.

The tasks of detecting enemy targets imitating winged-missiles under in conditions of intensive radio electron and firing, low-flying and aerodynamic targets, tracking them automatically, making decisions, opening fire at them, and destroying them effectively were performed successfully. The results were given high assessment.

The checking of the Air Force and the Air Defense Troops is continuing.
