Russia`s new ambassador hands credentials to Armenia`s President
Russian Federation`s (RF) newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Volinkin, on Saturday presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
Sargsyan congratulated the new RF ambassador, wished him success in his mission, and expressed a hope that Ambassador Volinkin will make maximum efforts to further strengthen Armenian-Russian political relations and expand interaction, the President’s Press Office informs. He stressed that Armenia`s relations with strategic ally Russia deepen in all domains, and the cooperation develops within the framework of CSTO, CIS, and a variety of international organizations.

In his turn, the newly designated RF ambassador assured that his embassy staff will do its utmost to develop ties between Armenia and Russia. Noting that the Russian-Armenian strategic partnership is distinguished by an unprecedented level of mutual understanding, Ambassador Ivan Volinkin stressed that the high dynamics of bilateral relations contribute to a rich and constructive political discourse.
