Paris Charles de Gaulle airport is evacuated after `suspicious package is found`
An unattended bag prompted a terror scare and evacuation at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport this morning, it has been reported.
Passengers at the French capital`s main airport said they were asked to leave part of the terminal as police descended on the scene.

One Twitter user said he had been barred from entering zones 15 and 9 at the airport for the last 15 minutes.

However, the airport has since revealed the alert is over and that they were only carrying out the `usual unattended baggage procedure`.

A spokesman said: `No evacuation at #CDG airport this morning. Only usual unattended baggage procedure. We are now back to normal.`

France remains on high alert after a wave of terror attacks in the country carried out by ISIS in the last year.

The evacuation also comes with Europe on edge days after an ISIS fanatic drove a lorry through a packed Christmas market in Berlin, killing 12.
