`Yerevan previously planned today`s provocation`
Armenian representatives failed to draw attention of the CSTO member`s attention to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and to elect Armenian as CSTO Secretary General at the last meeting of the CSTO Security Council in St Petersburg. Henceforth, Yerevan has committed provocation in order to attract CSTO member countries` attention, former deputy defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant-General Chingiz Mammadov said in his statement to AzVision.az.

The Armenian media falsified Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha`s views on the latest Armenian provocation by saying `he considers such actions within the territory of the CSTO member state as a provocation by Azerbaijan`.

`Actually, the CSTO isn’t involved in the settlement process. The OSCE Minsk Group is engaged in the settlement of the conflict. Our position is clear. This position is the position of all the CSTO member states. This position is that there is no military solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, it should be solved peacefully. The CSTO are against the use of large-caliber weapons in the region`, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha noted.Hence, the approximate coincidence of the provocation and quick interview gives ground for planning of the provocation in advance by Armenia.

The Armenian side seeks to expand the scale of the situation artificially by spreading desinformation constantly on the area which is not related to Nagorno Karabakh in a planned way. Besides, Armenia tries to involve other member of military-political organization in which Armenia is represented.
