Two Azerbaijani citizens injured in Istanbul nightclub terror attack
Two Azerbaijani citizens got injured in an attack on a nightclub in Istanbul, Hikmat Hajiyev, spokesperson for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, told AzVision.az.

The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul investigates the identity of the Azerbaijani citizens and makes contact with the relevant authorities of Turkish government.

The injured citizens are a man and a woman.

The health condition of the woman who was injured during the accident is satisfactory and she has already discharged from hospital.

At least 39 people, including 16 foreigners, have died and 69 injured in an attack on a nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey on Sunday at 02:15 Baku time.

There were reportedly as many as 700 people in the nightclub at the time of the attack, some of whom have jumped into the water to escape. Dogan news agency reported that some witnesses claimed the attackers were "speaking Arabic" while Turkish television channel NTV said special force police officers were searching the nightclub.
