It appears criminals are getting more creative when it comes to smuggling illegal substances into the United States, judging by these audacious attempts.
US Customs and Border Protection officials have released a rundown of some of the most bizarre smuggling attempts from 2016.
The US border patrol’s official Twitter account entertained its followers with a top 20 list of unusual photos.
Fake carrots, dream catchers and a table football machine were just some of the objects used to hide illegal drugs.
Other items seized included an entire roasted pig, 14 prohibited Mexican bologna rolls and nine live birds.
