The Azerbaijani Armed Forces are checking the combat training level of mortar units stationed on the frontline, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told on Tuesday.
The mortar detachments, involved in the practical training in mountain forest and steppe areas, are test-firing 120mm self-propelled systems ‘CARDOM’ to destruct simulated light armored vehicles, manpower, firing positions as well as other conditional enemy targets located behind the natural obstacles.
