Bulgarian president calls snap election
Bulgaria prepared for its third election in four years after President Rumen Radev announced the dissolution of parliament on Tuesday, AzVision.az reports citing Anadolu agency.
In a statement, the presidential office said parliament would be dissolved on Friday and an election held on March 26.

Ognyan Gercikov, a law professor who served as parliamentary speaker from 2001 to 2005, would lead a caretaker government until the new government is formed, the statement added.

Radev took office earlier this month with the support of the opposition Socialists. His election victory in November led to the resignation of the center-right government following the defeat of its candidate.
