Mine clearing operations to be carried out in liberated Jojug Merjanli village
Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) will establish a special group for searching and disarming mines and unexploded ordinances (UXOs) in the liberated Jojug Merjanli village of Jabrail district, the chief operation expert of ANAMA Adil Aslanov told Trend, AzVision.az reports.

`The village has been under Armenian occupation and possibly there are lots of ammunitions and landmines. So, ANAMA plans to carry out mine clearing operations in the area. Initially, we intend to implement exploration works. The acreage of the area is approximately 3 million square metres. I am going to visit the liberated village regarding this issue`, Aslanov said.
