He said this meeting was the first in the last three years.
“We came to agreement that these meetings be held on a regular basis. The meeting was quite productive. We were very glad to learn that the Azerbaijan side had interest in not only the energy sector but also alternative energy resources,” Schuebel said. “The meetings focused on discussion of the environment, climate change, and transportation. We also discussed Azerbaijan’s role as a transit country between Europe and Asia.”
