FM Mammadyarov highlighted demining and construction work carried out in liberated Jojugmarjanli village and the measures taken for the return of internally displaced persons in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He stressed that the efforts by the Government of Azerbaijan to improve the living conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons will further be continued.
Vincent Cochetel expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between UNHCR and Azerbaijan. He commended the changes in the rules for the funding of NGOs by foreign donors as positive case.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on prospects of cooperation between the UNHCR and Azerbaijan, and the current issues on the agenda.
