The European Union will continue supporting the implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor project, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini said at her meeting with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev in Brussels Feb. 6.
Mogherini said the Southern Gas Corridor project is of great importance for the EU, emphasizing on this project’s role in ensuring Europe’s energy security and diversification of gas supply.
