WHO: The Ebola epidemic is finally coming to an end
The number of new confirmed Ebola cases totaled 99 in the week to January 25, the first time the weekly total has fallen below 100 since June 2014, the World Health Organization said on Thursday.

Ebola cases were mostly recorded in Mali, Nigeria and Senegal. In total, there have been 21,000 cases in the world. 8, 300 deaths were recorded only in West Africa.

Scientists claim that the virus was transmitted to people from gorilla, bonobos and chimpanzees.
