“Without doubt, everyone had been expecting Mehriban Aliyeva in particular to be appointed to the position of First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, which had been constituted according to the results of last year’s referendum,” Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and chief of the administration`s foreign relations department, wrote on Facebook.
“I’m confident that Mrs Mehriban will attain new series of achievements in this honored and responsible position,” he wrote.
