An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale jolted 42km E of Padilla, Bolivia at 14:09:04 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 597.59 km, was initially determined to be at 19.2841 degrees south latitude and 63.8983 degrees west longitude.
