Azerbaijani Armed Forces Relief Fund increases over 300,000 AZN

Azerbaijani Armed Forces Relief Fund increases over 300,000 AZN

The Relief Fund assistance to the armed forces of Azerbaijan rose by 301, 859 AZN during January, 2015, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told on Feb.2.

Prior to February 1, 2015 AZN account of the Relief Fund amounted to 60.904.961 AZN, and the dollar account - $211,791, the euro account - 593 euros.

The increase in funds occurred only in the AZN account.

The Armed Forces Relief Fund was created by presidential decree on August 17, 2002. The relief fund for the armed forces is formed by the voluntary contributions of individuals and entities operating in Azerbaijan and other revenue not prohibited by law, the decree said.
