Azerbaijan sees fight against terrorism as a ‘priority’ in co-op with EU, US and Russia
The fight against terrorism remains a priority for Azerbaijan in its cooperation with the EU, US and Russia, said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Azerbaijan is faced with a new threat – terror which is considered a common plague, Mammadyarov said addressing the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Diplomatic Academy on Tuesday, AzVision.az reports citing APA.

“All that happens in the Middle East, which is fairly close to Azerbaijan, is being closely followed in our country. Azerbaijan is closely working with its partners in this direction,” said the minister, adding. “The fight against terrorism considered a priority by Azerbaijan in its cooperation the EU, US and Russia. This issue is always raised during talks with Russia. Our concerned structures are in constant contact.”
