According to the deputy minister, each of them was given a one-time allowance in the amount of 400 manats, 25 of them were provided with job, and 38 others were sent to professional courses.
He went on to say that last year Azerbaijan’s Center for Assistance to Victims of Human Trafficking under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population provided legal and psychological aid to 63 victims, as well as medical service to 7 victims and 450 potential victims at special medical facilities of the Ministry of Health.
“Thirty-one children under the patronage of victims were involved in education programs, assistance was provided for aliment to be paid for 3 children and for birth certificates to be given for 2 children. Another 7 people were placed in a shelter under the Azerbaijan Children Union,” he added.
Eyvazov noted that for the rehabilitation of victims, and sheltering and giving them lump sum allowances, the Interior Ministry allocated from its budget an amount of 153,000 manats, which was spent accordingly.
