A ceremony was held in Baku April 8 to present to the bereaved family the medal “For Valor”, awarded to Azerbaijani soldier Zakir Jafarov who had been martyred fighting to suppress an Armenian army frontline provocation on February 25.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officers of the Defense Ministry, the soldier’s family members, representatives of the public and local executive authority, AzVision.az reported.
