An international conference “Islamic solidarity: harmony of religious and cultural diversity” co-organized by the Caucasian Muslims Office, the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, Baku International Multiculturalism Centre and International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation kicked off on April 12 in Baku.
AzVision.az reports that Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh ul-IslamAllahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli, Vice-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova, Azerbaijan's state adviser on Multinational, Multicultural and Religious Affairs Kamal Abdulla, Research Centre for Islamic History, Art, and Culture (IRCICA) Director Halit Eren, Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on public associations and religious organizations Siyavush Novruzov, leaders of various religious communities in Azerbaijan and some ambassadors of foreign countries to Azerbaijan are attending the conference.
