Baku honors memory of outstanding ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva

Today, on April 15, the Office of Muslims of the Caucasus honored the memory of the outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Participants of the event in the Alley of Honor laid flowers to the graves of Zarifa Aliyeva and Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, made a speech at the ceremony. He drew attention to the fact that Zarifa Aliyeva was not only an outstanding ophthalmologist, but also a patriot of Azerbaijan.
