“Participation in this leading organization’s meetings will earn Azerbaijan more international influence, make our country’s donor activities more efficient, and help form new partnerships,” the ministry added.
The OECD is an intergovernmental economic organization with 35 member countries, which was founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade. Apart from 35 OECD member countries, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Peru, Romania, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and South Africa also hold the status of guest at the OECD Development Assistance Committee.
