World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue ‘a crucial step’ taken to address global challenges
The World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue is a crucial step taken to address global challenges, said Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Yousef Al-Othaimeen.
He made the remarks at the official opening ceremony of the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku May 5, AzVision.az reports.

He noted, they promote the culture of peace.

“We’re trying to strengthen unity between peoples and raise the level of public awareness. I’m very happy that the OIC has joined this process as well,” said the secretary general.

Al-Othaimeen noted that the OIC stands against hostility and extremism, and promote mutual understanding and culture.

“The OIC will continue to offer support for dialogue between religions and civilizations,” he added.
