The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in partnership with The Government of Azerbaijan, UNESCO, UNWTO, FAO, the Council of Europe and ISESCO hosts the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue to be held on 5-6 May in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Participants at the level of heads of government, ministers, senior representatives of the United Nations, government officials, representatives of non-governmental organizations and International Organizations got together to discuss ways forward to build societies based on equal opportunities as well as an inclusive framework of tolerance and respect for diversity under the general theme “Advancing Intercultural Dialogue: New Avenues for Human Security, Peace and Sustainable Development”.
By placing intercultural dialogue and cultural diversity higher on the international agenda the World Forums organized so far have became a global platform to raising awareness and shaping a global strategy for intercultural dialogue worldwide.
