Azerbaijan, Iran discuss issues of joint research in Caspian Sea
The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) discussed issues of joint research in the Caspian Sea, mud volcanoes with the ministry of foreign affairs of Iran, the message of the academy said Feb.10.
The President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh received the delegation headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Head of the Center for International Education and Research of the ministry of foreign affairs of Iran Hadi Soleimanpour.

The issues of the exchange of experience, joint biological and geological studies in the Caspian Sea, a joint study of mud volcanoes were discussed at the meeting, said the academy.

Iranian deputy foreign minister also invited the president of ANAS to pay a visit to Iran in order to expand scientific cooperation between the two countries.
