They think, Russia occupied Karabakh - Oleg Kuznetsov
Event about Oleg Kuznetsov`s petition calling on State Duma to recognize Khojaly genocide was held in Baku on May 17.

"19 thousand people signed the petition. Twelve thousand of the signatures are from Azerbaijan. This rate is very low," he said.

Kuznetsov stated that mostly people from foreign countries signed the petition.

Explaining the low rate of petition signature, he also added: "People have low confidence, assuming that State Duma will not react to this issue. They think that Russia invaded Karabakh and will never confess its fault."

“Most of the signatories were from Lenkoran. Furthermore, I will go to Ganja and Mingechevir to meet with students”, he highlighted.

Note, O.Kuznetsov launched petition in the beginning of March, 2017 to achieve recognition of the Khojlay genocide which was committed by the Armenia’s Armed Forces on 25-26 February, 1992. The petition was addressed to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation calling to arrest the perpetrators and recognize a tragedy as a genocide and crime against humanity.
