President of the Slovenian National Council Mitja Bervar in his interview to AzerTAc correspondents said he will visit Azerbaijan in March current year.
According to Mr. Bervar the visit will be organized by Slovenia-Azerbaijan Friendship Society and the Slovenian Honorary Consulate in Baku. In the sidelines of visit, Slovenian Culture Days will be held and the meetings will be organized giving impetus to further development of relations in tourism, economy and humanitarian sphere.

Highlighting the development of relations between the parliaments of the two countries, the president said that it has contributed to the expansion of relations in other areas. He praised the steps to improve cooperation between the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan and Slovenia. Mr. Bervar hailed the political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries. He lauded the Slovenian Honorary Consulate’s contribution to the development of relations.

Mitja Bervar expressed confidence that the mutual visits, exchange of ideas will contribute to the development of comprehensive cooperation.

Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the President stressed the importance of a peaceful solution to the problem.
