BP and partners invested $66 billion in Azerbaijan - BP Vice President

BP and its partners have invested $66 billion in Azerbaijan, BP Vice President Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli said at the second day of the 24th International Caspian Oil and Gas Conference.

According to him, ACG has produced more than 3 billion barrels of oil so far: “In the past 12 years, we delivered more than 30 billion cubic meters of associated gas to Azerbaijan”

He added that since late 2006 Shahdeniz field transported over 80 billion cubic meters of gas to the regional markets: “”BTC transported more than 360 million tonnes or 2.7 billion barrels of oil.

BP has allocated nearly $72 million for social projects in Azerbaijan.
