Students and academic staff of Harvard University visit Azerbaijan - PHOTOS
Last week, teachers and professors of the world-famous Harvard University of US visited Azerbaijan. During the visit they have met with several officials, as well.
The main aim of organizing the visit is to familiarize guests with the beauties of Azerbaijan and to inform them about political and economic successes of the country.



Students and academic staff of the University held meetings in the Azerbaijani Parliament, Supreme Court and `ASAN Service` centers. They also attended the Round Table discussion which was held in the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA). During the round table discussion, Shahmar Movsumov, the executive director of the State Oil Fund, Inam Karimov, the head of the `ASAN Service`, Taleh Ziyadov, the head of the Baku Port and Elnur Sultanov, the dean of the ADA university provided guests with detailed information about the history of our country, its path to independence, state development strategy, implemented successful reforms and `ASAN Service` model.



Foreign policy of Azerbaijan and the issues regarding Armenia`s occupation of Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh region and peace negotiations were also discussed during the meeting.



At the end of the week, the guests visited Azerbaijan`s touristic regions Sheki and Gabala.
Note, this event was organized by a group of Azerbaijani alumni of the Harvard University.
