Armenia has contaminated Azerbaijani rivers flowing in direction of Nakhcivan and Karabakh and dumped chemical substances. This problem was raised before international organizations and in media several times. However, Yerevan has always denied the facts before those organizations.

Note, Arpachay is one of the important tributaries of Aras River. Flowing directly to Aras River it crosses Azerbaijan’s territories. Armenia deliberately contaminates Arpachay and other rivers and conducts ecoterrorism against Azerbaijan.
