President Ilham Aliyev briefs Tillerson on recent Armenian military provocation

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Istanbul.

The sides underlined the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and the US in various areas, including political and energy fields, AzVision.az reported.

The settlement process of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was also discussed at the meeting.

Reiterating Azerbaijan’s stance on the settlement of the conflict, President Ilham Aliyev briefed US Secretary of State Tillerson on the recent military provocation of Armenia on the contact line of troops.
