FBI arrests US solider in Hawaii for ties to Daesh
The FBI arrested a US soldier stationed in the state of Hawaii for alleged connections to the Islamic State (IS, outlawed in Russia) terror group, media reported.
The suspect, Ikaika Erik Kang, 34, was a member of the US Army’s 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks in Wahiawa, Hawaii News Now (HNN) reported on Monday, citing FBI spokesman Arnold Laanui.

Kang, who was part of the year-long investigation, will make his initial appearance in federal court later on Monday, the report added.
