Killing of 2-year-old Zahra is ‘international crime’ - Turkish deputy PM

The killing of two-year-old Zahra and her grandmother as a result of Armenian army shelling of the Alkhanli village of Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli district is an intolerable international crime, said Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and Government Spokesman Numan Kurtulmus.

He made the remarks at a meeting with a group of Azerbaijani and foreign media representatives held on the first anniversary of the failed July 15 coup attempt in Turkey, an APA correspondent reported from Turkey.

“The people of Azerbaijan are the just side in respect of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” N.Kurtulus said urging Armenia to immediately free the occupied Azerbaijani territories.

The Turkish deputy PM expressed hope for the soonest liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani territories.
