Azerbaijani ambassador familiarized with works on BTK in Georgia

Azerbaijani ambassador familiarized with works on BTK in Georgia

Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov and Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Zaman Novruzov visited Tsalka district and Javakhetia region (districts of Ninotsminda and Akhalkalaki) to familiarize with the works on Baku-Tbilisi-Kars pipeline in Georgia.

According to Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, they viewed Tsalka, Toparavani, Karsakhi stations of the railway located on the Marabda-Akhalkalaki-Karsakhi-Turkey border.

Hasanov and Novruzov also have got familiarized with intensive completion works in Akhalkalaki station and 4,200 meters tunnel on Georgia-Turkey border.

According to information, Georgian part of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is expected to complete in September 2017.
