It should be noted that the draft law determines the legal mechanisms connected with the observance by the deputies of the Milli Majlis of ethical conduct rules, in accordance with the Constitution of Azerbaijan.
According to the document, each parliamentarian is obliged to comply with the provisions of this law. The law notes the possibility of depriving the mandate of a parliamentarian who grossly violated the rules of ethical conduct.
The bill was submitted for discussion and adopted by Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis in June this year.
