Car drives into arrivals hall of International Airport in Iceland
A car crashed into the arrivals hall of Keflavik International Airport, located approximately 31 miles away from Iceland’s capital of Reykjavik, local media reported.
The Iceland Monitor news website specified that a man, pretending to be giving up following a police chase, hit an officer, who was about to detain the individual. Then, the driver pulled a woman out of her car and left in the vehicle that he later drove into the airport at about 6 p.m. local time (18:00 GMT) on Sunday.



​The news website said that the police service had confirmed that the manhunt took place, however, it did not provide any comments with regard to the case. The eyewitnesses reportedly claimed that the man was in his twenties.

There is no exact information about casualties and damages to date, according to the media.
