Azerbaijani MPs to attend PACE Bureau and committee meetings
An Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation will attend meetings of the PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe) Bureau and the Assembly’s committees on legal affairs and human rights, political affairs and democracy as well as monitoring which will be held in Paris from 4 to 8 September, the parliament told.
The delegation will be headed by Samad Seyidov, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, chairman of the international relations and inter-parliamentary relations committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament. The delegation also includes MPs Sahiba Gafarova, Vusal Huseynov and Sabir Hajiyev.

An annual report by the Council of Europe Secretary General on the organization’s activities will be heard during the Bureau meeting. In addition, the draft agenda of the PACE autumn session will be approved and the issue of forming a new political group – the Free Democrats' Group.
